Modifying the 26650 copper stingray
I received a Black Stingray 26650 Mechanical Mod from Angelcigs.com. This is going to be a bit of a website exclusive, it will also be on my facebook page. So this is a china mod... It takes some modifying to make it work well. The first thing I noticed on it was the top screw post would adjust every time I put the switch in or took it out... The fit on the threads was way too loose... So lets get into how I made adjustments to it.
So I am looking at the top cap as I am sitting relaxing and eating a lollipop wondering how to stop the auto adjusting pin... As I go to put the lollipop stick into my trash can I realize it is plastic non conductive firm but just a little bit of give... Perfect for something to screw into to hold tension like a bushing...

Step 1 complete, I have found a material I can use that should fit my needs... Step 2... Dry fitting...
I took the end that was not in my mouth and put in the hole... I wanted it not too loose so I wouldnt accidentally crank down on it and smash it... At the same time it had to fit in the hole. The next step is modifying to meet your needs.
This part takes some trial and error... I cut with flush cutters 3 times before I got the right length that is why it was important that it was not to tight so I could take it out if need be. Next step is to fit and test.
As you can see there is space in between the 2 screws how ever it has stopped backing out or screwing in on me thanks to my plastic bushing made out of something I was going to throw away... Next up making the switch not stick...
Wait, What? Why is your goatee pink? -- update
Ok a lot of people don't understand the pink goatee... We have a lot of new people in the community, let me lay this out for you...
June 28th my wife left me... July 3rd my apartment burned down... I'm not whining but that's a lot to take in... I took 6 months to get my head right... It was time I needed... I got back on my feet. Jump forward to bash I was gonna dye my goatee blue as a joke about face book stickers. See the ones I posted the pictures of. The blue was horrible. When leaving for bash the divorce paperwork was filed, while being a major relief it bring up a lot of strange emotions. A lot more stuff to deal with.
I clear my head and go have a good time at bash. I come home and get back to normal life... Every morning I wake up seeing the same face, everything was the same... I needed a change, something to make me feel better about me. A joke was made I should have done pink... I get the pink washable dye... It looks good... I slept with it in, I wake up in the morning and when I looked in the mirror I smiled... That's when I knew it had to be done, I needed a change, if a little dye and bleach is what it would take so be it...

Each week I will address something from the week that just makes me say WTF?... Most times it will be a text update like this but I do occasionally want to do a video.
So what have I decided on for the first Weekly WTF? Something from the associated press of course.
We all know that there is a lot of press for and against ecigs, mods and vapers... That is for sure but really, WTF?

I suppose people are trying to be innovative and I applaud them for that, but a biometric scanner on an ego really? A non vari volt ego?

Well, what about with the electronic variety?"I don't recall putting my ego in an ashtray because it is not on fire, and people try my mod all the time, not just randomly when I am not looking. One of the easiest ways to let some one know what vaping is all about is to let them try. Maybe this will be good for people with kids... but the biometric scanner will not stop them from unscrewing the tank and getting to the eliquid... And if you need a biometric lock to keep your kid from getting to your ecig, my friend you have bigger problems.
